The end of our Hemangioma Journey

Friday June 5, 2009 Addison’s forehead hemagnioma was removed.  She was such a champ and did a wonderful job.  Dr. Richter and nurse Emily Copeland did an amazing job.  I can’t believe that we are done with this before she even turns one.  What a journey it has been and now that is is done I am thankful for it.  It has taught me patience and persistence and brought Emily and Dr. Richter into our lives.

Addison’s tissue will be used for research purposes, so she can continue to help others.  Our little angel!

Please see before and after pictures.  I will try to upload pictures once a month so you can see the progress!

Some people can be very insensitive and hurtful! As adults, we can handle it but these are just kids. They should be safe from judgment. I am sorry you had to go through this, but at least it will be over in August. Best of luck!
